Whatsapp Launched New 'Request Account Info' for iPhone Users

New Delhi: Instant Messaging App Whatsapp brings new features to its iPhone users. The name of this feature is 'Request Account Info'. Last month, these features were spotted in the Android beta version.
Under this feature, users will be able to download their Whatsapp data. It will be able to download data related to account information and settings, but personal messages will not be downloaded here. These features have been brought just two days before the implementation of the European General Data Protection Regulation.
Under this feature 'Request Account Info', the user will know what ultimately Whitsap has collected his data. Information such as photos, profile photo and group names can be downloaded from WhatsApp. As Whatsapp chat is end-to-end encrypted, neither does Whitespace collect personal chat nor the user will be able to download it. Remember that the user will be able to download the information which will be close to whatsapp.
How to get data?
To get data from WhatsApp, download the version of 2.18.60 app in iPhone or update your existing app. After the new version is downloaded, go to Settings> Accounts. Here you will get the option of Request Account Info. Tap on the Request Report option here.
